Claude Charron
Afta Shock Dancer
Ottawa Co-Marketing Director
Claude has been dancing since a very young age, watching Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown & imitating music video choreographies, he loved to dance and perform for his family. At 17, it became a passion when he joined the Elaine Hunter Dance school and Steps ’n Such dance company to perform in several competitions in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
After a 4 years off to focus on school, having studied Animation Television at Algonquin and Graphic Design at La CitĂ© collĂ©giale. Claude discovered Culture Shock Ottawa and decided to give dance another try. After two auditions, he has now been training, traveling, teaching outreach programs and performing with Culture Shock for a little over three years now. Now a full-time professional Graphic Designer, he is also the troupe’s Marketing Director and designer; preparing various visual designs, booking performances, heading the troupe’s social media and planning fundraisers & events. Claude has found a family in which he can not only share his love for dance, but also grow as an individual.
Claude has only begun his career as a Hip-Hop dancer/instructor and is looking forward to share his passion with the youth and dance community.
